Mike Wiggins is a native of Alabama. He attended the University of Mobile, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned the Bachelors, Masters and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Mike and Cindy have been married since 1975. Cindy is also a graduate of the University of Mobile and a first grade teacher at Bagdad Elementary School. Mike and Cindy have two children. Michaela and her husband, Michael Bush, have two sons, Gavin and Logan; they live in Bagdad, FL. Their son, Chayce, his wife Ashley, and son Finn live in Jacksonville, NC where Chayce serves in the US Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot.
Mike has served churches in Louisiana, Alabama and Florida before coming to serve as the Senior Pastor at Pine Terrace in 1987. He is an avid fan of college football, especially the University of Alabama.
A native of Alabama, Justin attended Samford University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a Concentration in Congregational Studies. While serving in churches from Alabama to Florida, Justin continued his education and received his Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Since accepting the Lord’s call into ministry, Justin has served in many areas of church leadership and continues to seek new ways to reach those he has been called to serve. Justin is married to Amy and they have three children; Jackson, Colson and Madison. Together, Justin and Amy have committed their lives to helping people find and grow a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Reaching and serving the world through ministries inside the church and outreach opportunities is a way of life for Justin and his family. He strives daily to serve God by loving God’s children.
Tommy was born in Evergreen, Alabama and spent his childhood in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Theodore High school and the University of Mobile. Tommy has been a worship pastor for more than twenty years in Alabama, Louisiana and Florida. He is a musical writer and arranger and loves leading worship. Tommy has experience with bands, orchestras and musical groups of all sizes and experience levels. He is passionate about leading people to experience worship and encourages others to find their passion through the worship arts.
Tommy has been married to Shana for more than 24 years and they have two daughters: Madison and Meagan.
Peter grew up in Daphne, Alabama, on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. He attended college at the University of Mobile, earning a Bachelor of Science in Christian Studies. Peter continued his preparation for ministry, earning a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his education, Peter has spent the past 13 years in Student Ministry in various Southern Baptist churches in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. Peter is married to Amy of Mesa, Arizona, and they have one child, Maggie. When he’s not investing in the lives of students, or spending time with his family, Peter loves the outdoors, biking, and Auburn football. Peter is excited about what God will continue to do through the students at Pine Terrace.
Shelley was born and raised in Repton, Alabama. After graduating from Repton High School, she continued her education at Alabama Southern (formerly known as Patrick Henry State Jr. College). Shelley has experience teaching and working with children and special needs children through her seven years of working as a paraprofessional in the public school system, teaching 5th and 6th grade Connection classes, volunteering in preschool and children’s ministries, and years of directing Girls in Action and VBS at Pine Terrace. She and her family joined our fellowship in 1999. Shelley has also served for 5 years on the State Preschool and Children’s Leadership Team for the Florida Baptist Convention and has been a key leader in organizing children’s events and training children’s mission leaders throughout the state.
Shelley and her husband, Robby, were married in 1991. They have two beautiful children, Karlyn and Jacob. When she is not serving at church, she enjoys cooking and reading.
Angela was born and raised in Neosho, Missouri. She is a military wife that has spent several years teaching and serving children. She is very creative with and educational background in childcare, art design, photography, and floral design. Angela uses her creativity and artistic background to bring Bible stories to life through skits and games. She is married to Justin. Together they have 3 children, Carter, Colton, and Caroline Rose. When she is not at church serving, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Gunter was born and raised in Milton, FL. Gunter graduated from Milton High School in 2013 and attended the University of Mobile before being called into full time ministry. Gunter is currently working towards his B.S. degree in Theology and Church Ministry at Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity. Gunter accepted the call into worship ministry at the young age of sixteen and has since felt called to serve and lead young adults. Gunter and his wife, Rachel, married in 2017. Together, they have committed their lives to serving and encouraging others. In his free time, Gunter enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and Auburn football. Gunter looks forward to the growth of the young adult ministry. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.
